The carnival parade assembles in Pound Street before it sets off at 2.00pm along Bartholomew Street, Northbrook Street, Oxford Street and then the Old Bath Road. The parade ends in the Old Bath Road. By prior arrangement, some parade entries turn off at Strawberry Hill to go to Northcroft Park. The remainder continue to the Old Bath Road.
